All retrogrades bring a “reconsideration” or other words that start with the prefix “re” in the matters of the sign and house the planet is transiting through. Retrogrades bring a focus inward and to the past as it relates to the present and future. It is a time when going back over things is a prominent theme. I always think of the Earthworm card from the Ted Andrew’s Animal Wise Tarot Card Deck when it is retrograde time. He talks about how the earthworm goes back over dirt making it fine and fertile soil. It is this going back over things that sets one up for fertile future experiences in the area of life being re-examined.
The retrograde transits bring planetary “opportunities” to strengthen weak links and set up stronger points of attraction for more enriching experiences. Often these “opportunities” come through some form of crisis, as they are often neglected for a long time and in a big way so Spirit needs to bring awareness in a way that sticks.
It is very important to note that although reexamination of major issues is common and indicated at this time, actually MAKING LIFE-CHANGING DECISIONS is not. More information will come throughout the transit so to take one moments insight and take action on it would likely be premature, as the retrograde promises we aren’t necessarily seeing clearly or all angles of an issue, especially on topics of love, beauty, and money.
Assessing, researching, working in the backdrop, experimenting without long commitment for things with low stakes, and in general “staying the course” during the revaluation is usually what is best indicated.

Venus Retrograde through Aquarius/11th House:
Aquarius/the 11th house rule friends, acquaintances, social connections/groups/media, groups/teams/large organizations, humanitarian efforts, communities/community-based projects, internet and other technology, inventions, and innovation.
When Venus goes retrograde in Aquarius/the 11th house, romantic interest from your social circles could return. For those who are attached, you and your partner could return to previous groups you were a part of before.
Money/income/great ideas or connections are likely to come from friends, acquaintances, groups/organizations, communities you are or were connected to.
It is overall a great time to get back in touch with friends or contacts from the past as you are intuitively guided and to be open to others getting back in connection with you.
Many people will re-open Facebook or other social media that they stepped away from or return to places they used to gather in person or online.
The energy brings great opportunities to re-negotiate all aspects of social connections and technology-based interaction devices and methods.
Some questions you can proactively address during or that may naturally come up during Venus retrograde through Aquarius/the 11th house:
~ What am I looking for from social connections?
~ Are my social groups serving the person I have evolved into? How do reconnect with my ‘tribe’?
~ Am I supported or limited by my friends, social connection, community interactions?
~ How can I most support my friends and communities?
~ Am I maximizing my social connections/internet-based devices/projects to serve my mission?
~ Are my efforts benefiting “the greater good”?
~ Do I have ideas that could make me money and/or help people?
~ Can I help support others efforts to financially support humanitarian efforts?
~ Does my relationship with technology and/or social media need to be reevaluated? How can I do this in a way that lets me “try on” different relationships without closing any doors?
~ Am I addicted to social media? Is social media or using my devices gotten to an unserving excess?
~ Could I be utilizing social media/my devices in a broader way to help support my bigger visions?
Summary/Resources for Venus retrograde in Aquarius/11th House:
~ For those who feel they are overdoing social interactions of any kind, a “stepping back” may be warranted but it is better to just log off for a while rather than closing or deactivating accounts. Notifications can be ended for social media to give a break without a long-term commitment to ending the accounts.
~ It is prudent to follow intuition now regarding people to re-connect with and in responding to those who are attempting to reconnect. The seeds for future expansion could be getting planted now with these re-connections.
~ Education/research on getting patents or doing any internet or other technology-based project
~ Education on best use of social media for business or socially-focused projects
