Happy New Moon in Gemini! I am writing this two days before the New Moon and WOW are the energies in motion very strongly already!
In my June 2026 Horoscope Report, I promised you a deep dive for the New Moon in Gemini, the general energies AND for each sign. I have had laryngitis for a week with no sign of sounding normal in time to make this recording so I am doing this write up and referring you to video segments for each sign that I already recorded which I have embedded for your viewing on this page.
Read this intro as it will set the space for the lunar event, then find the listing at the end of my write-up for your sign and watch the corresponding video. New Moons always bring a new start to a 28-day cycle that is fresh with the energy of new beginnings. Sometimes the New Moon opens a start to something longer than that. They can frequently tie into a storyline that is 13 moons (or around 1 year).
This New Moon may carry that level of weight as it coincides with the energies of direct planets, mostly free from retrograde mischief. Just 2 days into the very start of a Mercury Retrograde Shadow Period, a sensitive person, or one who is paying attention and knows what to look for, may notice the blaze of forward movement of the last 2 months starting to wind down and a new, more internal, reflective, and responsive phase beginning - one that will last until around August 8, 2026.
So this New Moon can still include squeezing in some important long-term goals and steps towards those goals. If you aren’t ready to do something major, you may feel this more internally as intention-setting or awarenesses that start to shift behaviors and actions.
The general energies, the ones all signs will feel, that are present at New Moon’s specifically in Gemini have to do with the expression of WORDS and IDEAS.
Written and spoken words can carry extra importance at this time and you may find yourself writing, reading, or in other ways communicating important correspondence, maybe even writing a blog or a book! Editing is also a great Mercury-related project.
It is very interesting (and NOT coincidental) that I always share to guard your respiratory tract during Gemini transits and aspects, as it is Gemini that rules that body system, as here I am WRITING this report instead of recording it because I have laryngitis! I very rarely get these types of illnesses but I did also have an issue LAST JUNE, during the same Gemini transits!
Gemini energy tends to spread us THIN as we diversify and intensify our interests. This way of being tends to coincide with increased susceptibility to respiratory ailments.
So here we are :)
I LOVE this time, not only for sharing important words but the whole energetic of social dynamics - friends and neighbors - and even many of our relatives fall under Gemini rulership - siblings, cousins, aunts, uncles, nephews, nieces, etc. It is really fun that my own cousin, who is more like a sister, reached out to me to tell me of some of the best news regarding her mother, my aunt, that I have ever had! These types of manifestations would be easy to miss if you didn’t know what you were looking for, so I am telling you now, so you know!
Mobility is also a Mercury thing - trains, planes, automobiles (and any other mode of transport, including walking or wheeling) is ruled by Mercury and since Mercury rules Gemini, you will see these topics coming up more now.

This could be a great time to make a purchase. Only 2 days into the retrograde shadow, it is still a primo time for important decisions and purchases like that. Just watch the fine-print and get a payment you can afford since most of the rest of the year is covered in Mercury and Venus retro and it will make you reconsider things.
Catch up with friends, jot down ideas for a future book, edit on you already have worked on, continue writing, for work, for play, for expression, take a walk and chat with neighbors, go to a community event - these are all lovely weekend New Moon in Gemini ventures.
I am also happy to tell you that this New Moon coincides with the Moon in a great aspect with SATURN - the giver of material prosperity and outcomes and LONG-TERM gifts! This adds to that potential I talked about earlier of something more prominent than just a 28-day cycle project.
